The MW division a few years back wasn't so deep and now you have all these good match ups that can happen.

Pirog ain't fighting nobody so you can count him out. Now that Geale beat Sturm the WBA is forcing him to fight Golovkin which they didn't do when Sturm was champ.

Golovkin can want to unify as much as he wants as long it is not a WBC belt

I agree Grustler. While I do think Golovkin is good he is being extremely overrated on here, which seems to be the norm on this site. I think Golovkin vs Quillin would be a great fight.

If Quillin beats N'Jikam, which is a solid fight on it's own right now, I want to see him fight Macklin or Pirog. I really don't think Quillin should rush in with Martinez right now, or Golovkin yet.

If Martinez-Chavez II is set, which I don't like, I want to see Golovkin get his unification shot against Geale.

same..and assuming he beats geale, I would love to see him go after the martinez vs chavez 2 winner, which most likely will be martinez again.

            It will probably be Pirog.

            No one else wants it.

I want to see GGG vs Geale. Pirog will likely pull out of the fight and Golovkin will end up fighting a replacement.

Expect Arum to claim that Maravilla priced himself out.
Would be fine by me, and the general public would not buy into it because even your average Joe now knows Arum is bonafied slickster. I truly hope the post fight chatter dies down, and Team Martinez announce they are moving on and moving down to score a fight with Money. I'm sure Floyd would take it at a catchweight too. THAT is the fight I want to see.

Quillin sparred with GGG awhile back. I know it's not the same as boxing, but he looked really good against him. Golovkin looked good against another small mw in Proksa who just fought like 8 weeks before their match. I liked what I saw sitting second row but I still think GGG has a lot to prove. I'd love to see this fight happen.

"A Wild Card regular who spotted me at the Alvarez-Hatton fight in Anaheim, Calif., this past March whispered that he saw Golovkin give undefeated super middleweight prospect Peter Quillin all he could handle at Roach’s famous boxing club"

All he could handle = polite way of saying overmatched. Plus Quillin turned down a Golovkin fight. Keep telling your lies wont make it any more true.

"A few months later I got a phone call from the producer of a Spanish-language sports show, who swore that he witnessed Golovkin "embarrass" Julio Cesar Chavez Jr. at the Wild Card gym during an open workout held for the Latino media a few weeks before the unbeaten middleweight pulled out of scheduled Dec. 4 card."
