Why do Floyd fans act as if Floyd himself actually cares about the legitimacy of his opponents? Canelo being a young undefeated fighter with a HUGE paying fan base alone is enough for Floyd to make the fight. He's a prizefighter remember? He's in it for huge gate and PPV revenue. Stop it.

Not much better then Mayweathers recent wins since they're the guy lopez beat, shot Mosley A marquez who was forced to move up 2 divisions and got jobbed at the weigh in and cotto.

I think Canelo is the most likely style I have seen to be able to recreate the style in the Castillo-mayweather fights. That is my overall feeling on it, he is not as physical gifted as some of the young stars coming through, but I think he could possibly be the smartest.

Educated pressure, counter punching. He pressures people without punching, using foot pressure, he has great spacial awareness, timing, is patient and throws compact punches.

Pressure from taller fighters brings a lot of problems. I would still expect Floyd to win, but if the fight happened I think people who doubt Canelo will realise very quickly that he belongs in that ring.

Guys can we stop acting like we dont understand why Alvarez is considering Mayweather.

Its a prize fight. Azteca Stadium maybe? Its a big big money fight for both fighters. Thats the only reason its happening. No Alvarez is not a threat imo, but shyt neither is Pac imo.

No just pointing out that discrediting floyd vs Canelo by disparaging Canelo's resume by naming the same guy mayweather fought and the guy who beat who mayweather fought is kind of ridiculous.

How is Mayweather going to slow down Pacquiao? He doesn't have the power, he doesn't throw many combinations. As I mentioned above Mayweather loves to lean against the ropes, he will eats shots all night. What "Tricks" will Mayweather impose on Pacquiao? Elbows?
