you're right he hasn't proven himself as a legitimate threat by beating any top fighters. He has potential though and Mayweather doesn't have time to sit around waiting for him to fight a few guys. It's either him Pac or Martinez really. Bradley kind of sucks.

Canelo is the match-up with the best risk:reward ratio, so he'll most likely fight him next.

Not much better then Mayweathers recent wins since they're the guy lopez beat, shot Mosley A marquez who was forced to move up 2 divisions and got jobbed at the weigh in and cotto.

Mosley was coming off a win via KO against Margarito, so he wasn't nearly as shot as he was against Canelo (Vs canelo he was shot as hell, with no victories in over 3 years)

Mayweather does not have the power at 154lb to slow Canelo down. Mayweather doesn't use his legs anymore, he likes to lean against the ropes to rest, while attempting to dodge bullets.

I agree with you. I don't think Floyd will fight Canelo and I think there is a good chance he is through fighting and is going full time promoter. Floyd does not lose fantasy fights on boxing scene.
