I pick Marcos Maidana, and I hope he got the $100k, he deserves it. Or did somebody already got it?
Karass is a bum. For maidana to have gone life and death with him tells you all you need to know about maidana at 147. BS stoppage though

Martinez of coarse, guy looked like the total package in there; speed, reflexes, skills, athleticism, and even heart and courage in that ugly 12th round.

            Madiana looked awesome.

Canelo looked very sharp and menacing, but Joseito way out of his depths to begin with.

Ponce didn't look to good, but I'm glad he won a fight I didn't give him much of a chance on.

I already knew what Martinez was capable of so I wasn't as impressed of him as I was of Jr. digging deep and letting go after everyone in that stadium had given up on him, including his trainer and his own father.

The kid was determined to win after being outclassed for 11 rounds. That took heart. He proved he had that despite lacking the skills.

We already knew Martinez had the heart of a champion, but even so, watching him cry in the locker room after picking himself of the canvas and going on to get a well deserved victory was truly marvelous.

Maidana impressed me the most, I respect Robert Garcia, to me he's definitely Top 5 as a trainer but I didn't think Maidana would discipline himself that much. I thought that he would eventually revert to his old stuff but that wasn't the case. He defended himself a lot better than we're all used to see, rolled, ducked, used the jab, mixed his attack up a lot better and kept his punches short and compact. The way he would land the overhand/ or straight right hand then tie up, that was great stuff.

Bit off topic, but one of the things that impressed me with Paulie commentating on the fight, was him pointing out early that Garcia had really made Maidana a more balanced fighter.

I think Malignaggi should do more commentating. He's good.
