I was getting visions of Pea watching it, lol.

Somebody made a similar poll last night, and I'll say the same I did in that thread.

    Martinez.

But Maidana impressed the hell out of me last night. He really looked a more complete boxer, with the same thunderous power and nastiness.
I was thinking the same thing about his defense at that one point where he slipped and ducked like 5 punches against the ropes.

I don't know, he was getting badly outworked in so many rounds. Doesn't look like 147 is much a fit for him to me.

      You may be right.

But it will be fun to see Maidana against just about anyone at 147.

            Martinez and R. Martinez

Sergio just showed how beastly he is, from a skills standpoint, IQ standpoint and a gutty warrior standpoint. I was screaming at the TV to hold on for dear life, wrap up Julio, nut tap him, do whatever to slow him down, and he just says **** it and stands in the pocket and throws bombs with him. I was like, that guy is a ****ing G.

And Rocky Martinez isn't getting any love due to what is easily going to be the Round of the Year in the main event, but overall, I thought the co-feature was the best fight of the night. He was taking some crazy shots from Beltran but just kept coming and coming and outworking Beltran. Both those guys deserves props for that war and I'd love to see a rematch. It has trilogy written all over it

Robbed? C'Mon bro...that scorecard from one judge was looking to rob Martinez.

The ref warned Beltran like 5 times for rabbit punching and gave two hard warnings. It was a fair point deduction and how can you say robbed when every round was pretty close.

And its not like one big shot a round should cancel out all the shots landed by Martinez. You salty ass dudes always crying robbery when the **** doesn't go your way. A draw , MD or SD in either fighter's favor is a cool outcome because it was that close
