Great performance by Sergio (11 round schooling), he got a little ****y and combined with exhaustion it nearly turned into a disaster. I'm still shocked he didn't clinch when he was badly hurt and just fought toe to toe till the end.

well he did have the heart to actually get in the ring with martinez which is something that i don't think alot of people thought would happen very soon...so i guess that has to count for something lol. That's not how I saw the fight. Chavez was so worried about covering up last night. I wonder why?

He was worried about covering up because he immediately felt sergio's power. Look at his face, I mean honestly. If he had been more aggressive, he would have been hit much more.

My prediction before the fight was a doctors stoppage. I would have been right, if sergio didn't stay away from a fight so much. They say Sergio ran, I find that hilarious. He was pressing all the action in the fight.

What do you expect him to do, Stand on the ropes and let a 30/35 pound heavier man drop punches on him? That's naive. The bottom line is, if chavez had gotten more aggressive, his face would have been much worse. Would have been stopped.
