I'm a huge and proud Mexican boxing fan. And with that said lets just keep it real on this board we all saw the same fight. What happened tonight was a serious boxing lesson. Jr landed only a single punch the first round. He was outclasses for 11 1/2 rounds. Jr. is a B level fighter and still has a lot to learn. Martinez is a true champion however with his age he should clearly go for the big name fights not a rematch, he has 2 years in the sport at the most.. Jr is still young and with more dicipline and trainning he can one day become a legend like his father.

If rounds 1-11 didn't speak loud enough, all you have to do is watch round 12 to see why Chavez isn't better than Martinez.

I was such a fool to think that Sergio would get his well-deserved credit. Had he not gotten up from that knockdown, people would've been saying he's weak or he's a coward or he has a glass jaw. NSB would've NEVER heard the end of it. Very little self-proclaimed Chavez fans are actually fans, most of them are just haters/bandwagon hoppers. To say Jr. showing heart trumps Sergio's entire performance is ridiculous. Chavez arguably lost rounds 1-11, was losing round 12 til the knockdown, and he still couldn't finish the job. Sergio is THAT good.
