joking right? obviously its GB to blame for putting in one of the top jr middles with a jr welter. U really expect Lopez to turn down a high 6 figure payday which was probably more than what he made in all his other fights combined

i agree with u maidana was a very good fight and hats off to lopez, canelo is a beast he will be our next cash cow

so u think in 3 yrs wen Mayweather and Pac are either retired or on their last legs Alvarez takes the torch which has gone from SR Leonard - Tyson - De lahoya-Mayweather/pacquiao. at least thats been the cash cow progression since Ive been a boxing fan

Overall excellent card. Loved it. Maidana's combinations were beautiful at the end, Canelo's style delivered as usual. Johnny Gonzalez tried escaping with a win but luckily he didn't.

no surprise here. lopez just didn't look good with the extra pounds he had to gain for this fight. i give props to canelo for the knock out but it don't mean nothing unless he fights a true top JMW contender. martinez vs. canelo 2013 for the WBC JMW title.
