I hope the winner tonight will fight Golovkin. I think Martinez has tonight on lock and I'd love to see Maravilla/GGG.

Sparring isn't always just sparring. When Golovkin and Chavez sparred, it was in preparation for a Chavez fight. Chavez was in shape, and continue to get in better shape. His mission was to beat on his partners, look good. That didn't happen. An out of shape Golovkin with nothing lined up had his way with him - this is a bad look and says a lot.
You have no clue what sparring is for do you?

A lot of fighters only give 30-40% in sparring and don't really take it that seriously.

The goal in sparring is to practice tactics and perfect technique. It's not to beat the living shit out of your sparring partner.

This is why all those sparring rumors between Pac and Khan or Mayweather and Peterson aren't taken seriously.

Kid Chocolate had his way with Golovkin & Chavez at Wild Card. The middle weight division will soon be respecting Quillin. I've been warning you for over a year now.

I was at Golovkin's fight. He did well against Proksa but they're both small for this division where 6 feet has become the norm.

I'll raise you $100 that their promoters make sure they steer clear of GGG.

LOL. I'll be looking for you to make a points bet with me if GGG and Quillin ever get matched.

Proksa looked like he spent his career fighting in Tough Man competitions. With that said I believe GGG is the real deal but realistically he still has a lot to prove.

You apparently have no clue what sparring is. There's a point in camp when it's time to put your foot on the gas. Everyone has this misconception that sparring is just 'practice'. This is false. Very false. The man infront of you is trying to impress and make a name for his damn self. His trainer doesn't want his fighter looking bad and doesn't want the other trainers fighter getting the better of the work.

Why are you guys so uneducated when it comes to work in the gym? God. Where have all the knowledgeable posters gone. It's not always just practice and technique, far from.

I wasn't impressed with PQ against Wright, he looks good offensively but his defense is terrible and his chin looks BAD, Wright who is pretty feather fisted was snapping Qullins head back with several punches throughout the fight.
