So now thats it's official with the announcement can you please stop reporting on Amir Kahn? It's the general consensus of readers here that nobody really cares about him anymore. He did a fine job of alienating and destroying much of his fan base with all of his lame excuses and blame pointing at others. A true boxing warrior would pick up the pieces get back to the gym and work hard.
Remember Mike Tyson : "The Road Back" ???

Roach went downhill bigtime just look at some of his fighters who lost in the last year : Khan, Pacquiao, Rodella, Linares, McEwan.. etc..
His disease makes him ineffective now, he needs to stop pretending like he's still a trainer and get out the game.

Good move. I don't see where Khan has significantly improved since joining Roach? He keeps his hands up more, moves a little better, and his conditioning has strengthened, but that's about it.
Garcia and Prescott are similar fighters. Khan lost to Prescott by devastating fashion pre Roach, and lost to Garcia in similar fashion with Roach. Where's the improvement?
Any version of Khan is likely to beat the Kotelnik's,the Judah's, and the Maidana's.
For his own sake, he needs a trainer who will commit to him 100%, instil into him a more defensive approach, and get him sticking to a game-plan. Yes the fault lies with the fighter, but I don't see why leaving a severely handicapped trainer who has other commitments is seen as a bad thing?
Roach wasn't working any more. And I think Khan has regressed!

The judges of that fight let Roach off the hook on this one.
