He may be looking after himself better but the damage has already been done. I see it playing out the same as most comebacks like this do. He's going to end up getting embarrassed by somebody that he would have beaten easily when he was undefeated. He should have taken Floyd's advice and retired after their fight. There was no shame in losing to the best boxer of his era in a bout where he gave a good account of himself despite being pretty much dominated. But once you lose like that, you are just not going to be the same, mentally or physically. It was a very very brutal loss, and by continuing he is putting his health and life after boxing in very serious danger. He might get badly hurt. Anyway, I wish him the best and hope that he will go out on a happy note.

Just watching the press conference, it seems like Ricky can't live without boxing.

The ringposts are taking bets on which one ricky touches first.

For perhaps the first time in his career, Ricky has taken off the timber SLOWLY. This is a monumental shift in the right direction, i’m really pleased he’s doing things the right way.

As for an opponent, i suspect Brook is on the radar – down the line. The needle Kel gave Matt Hatton will still bother Ricky, i’m sure he’d like to stick one on him.

The proof of course is in the pudding, but right now he is looking tremendous. Let’s wait and see.

Right now Brook is too dangerous for Hatton, in a comeback fight or even this late in a weathered fighters career - the last thing Hatton needs to be facing is a slick mobile youngster!!

It's the first time I've ever seen Ricky look healthy. Sure he would lose the weight and get thin before the fight but he always looked pasty and unwell, it's the first time he looks thin and healthy.

I have full respect for Ricky for doing this and I hope he does really well.

I agree with the bold fully. I could see this one being on his agenda. I wish Ricky nothing but the best and hope he can log a couple wins before he really hangs them up. Still think Hatton vs. De La Hoya would be HUGE, stictly considering coinage and nothing else (relevance).
