no opponent yet? n'dou sounds like the man.if it is him i dont know if its the right choice-no one stops him,so its almost certain to go the distance(which could prove a bridge to far in his 1st fight back).ive said before, why not a british domestic opponent- dawes,lynes,woodhouse-at least ricky would be expected to win comfortably,so if he struggles he'll know its time to quit.sounds like though he's got his sights set higher (khan, paulie, etc)would love the old hatton back-i fear this wont be the case!

we can't do nothing on Ricky's defense. So all we have to do is improve his defense

But I don't think Hatton needs a trainer to accommodate his style, just someone to advise him and hold the pads.
Joe's not really renowned for producing boxers with great defence so this would work.

I don't personally think it really matters at this stage of his career. As long competent enough to get him in shape, has a dietitian/nutrishnist to have him eating proper post fight then he'd be okay. I'd go with Rob McCracken.

Hatton should target fighters that aren't big punchers. Cuenca would be a good opponent for him with only 1 KO on his record, then move on to Malignaggi and then maybe Bradley.

Would be nice if he got Billy Graham back in his camp.

Personally I think he'll fight Witter first in a home soil warm up, then move onto Paulie at 147 then staying put, take on Timothy Bradley.

That will be the plan anyway, who knows where PM & TB will be in the coming 12-18 months.

Or maybe Ricky just wants one fight and one fight only to exorcise those demons.

                      Only Hatton knows.
