"Just arrived at the Hatton press conference and judging by the 30ft-by-10ft poster emblazoned with The Hitman, I'd say it's official: Hatton's back."

Ricky Hatton, speaking at his press conference in the centre of Manchester: "People say to me: 'What are you doing it for? You have been beat by two of the best pound for pound fighters of your generation, don't risk your legacy'. But I think if you don't understand why I want to make a comeback, you have to sit down and have a little think.

"It has been well documented what has happened to me since my last defeat, a two round demolition by Manny Pacquiao. No-one want to retire on that and my personal life was turning to mush."

"I have put a bit back into the sport through the promoting, but that didn't quite fill the void. I got my trainer's licence and got back into the gym with the boys spending a bit of time on the pads, getting a little bit thinner. That's where it started.

"This is more than a comeback. It is worth more than any amount of money, any amount of titles. It is more than that because they don't know what has been going on in between my ears."

Who would you recommend to be Ricky Hatton's trainer?

                  What do you guys think?

I'm quite stumped to think of some that would accommodate Hatton's style because we know what happens when you try and alter it.

                    Style wise, Joe Gallagher.

But I don't think Hatton needs a trainer to accommodate his style, just someone to advise him and hold the pads.

As Mize said, Gallagher, although I also think Adam Booth would be a savvy pick.

what he REALLY needs is an S&C Coach to work with him, 365 days a year.

If he is serious about this comeback, he needs to LIVE HEALTHY
