The berto fight with Ortiz that fell thru was showtime.
Maybe they were in cahoots? Go to showtime, have them spend $$$$ promoting, fake an injury to postpone, then use contaminated substances to ruin their sept 15 plans when you get scrapped and the replacement whoops ortiz. Ok done with creative writing for the day.

Yeah, he'd come down for the right fight/money, like May, Canelo or Cotto.

Careful, people will start saying that 154 is weak now that Floyd is fighting in it. You know the "fans" and what that means when Floyd is in a division.

Outside of that point, 154 is the place to be now. Other than Floyd and Pac, not much going at 147 unless you throw Bradley in the mix since he has an official win over Pac.
Who ever denies 154 is a hot division is obviously just trolling. You have three big money makers in one division. When you have 2, it's a good division. But three? Mayweather, Cotto, Canelo? With the other solid contenders in that weight class[like 10 of them]. That's like 13 good fighters in one division. That's countless match-ups.

Nobody accused K9 of cherry picking a welterweight. Why am I not surprised?

Berto is going to wreck K-9~ it might be sloppy at points but the ending is likely to be devastating.

Whatever happened with the Berto drug testing? I faintly remember reading that the tests were incorrect/inconclusive or some **** like that. Any reputable word?

Good fight for Berto. He can become a 2 weight champion. It also puts him in line for Alvarez and Cotto/Trout, which could then lead to Floyd.

If Berto wins, that's a win over a top 10 JMW titlist. Which makes Berto a legit JMW. Which would make it okay for Canelo to fight him.

But like my previous post, Canelo better fight the winner of Lara-Vanes or vacate.

Do you really thinkCanelo will fight either if he can land a better name? :|... its the WBC we're talking about here too. Lol
