because Cinco de Mayo is a Mexican holiday, just like Sept 15.

Both dates are reserved for the best fights of the year.

Not only that it was a super close fight for cotto. Hes a very good fighter but over rated by many.
Mosley was no where past prime other than when he faced Canelo. Cotto boxed brilliantly unlike prior fights is what my point was. Indeed the fight was close but Cotto controlled the fight and imo legitimately won. Those who continue to claim he is overrated have underlying agendas not necessarily consistent with an objective view of the sweet science as their basis for their opinions.

Not necessarily focusing on the outcome as I stated already in prior post. It will be an exciting fight no doubt. assuming each wins their upcoming bouts which is no guarantee.

I like Cotto but I personally can't wait for Canelo to beat his ass.

Cotto will be unified champ for a little bit before the corrupt WBC strips him for being a unified champ.

Cotto versus Canelo Would Be An EPIC Fight!

Mayweather could learn something from these two warriors. Fight the best of the best, win, lose, or draw, and let the money take care of itself. Don't see these warriors afraid to get it on. Floyd needs to grow a set.

Come on man, he fought Mayorga AFTER Cotto. He fought and looked damn good against Luis Collazo, who had just come off a fight where many thought he got robbed against Hatton. If you're not sure, use boxrec.

I would LOVE to see this fight happen, but I think we will see Floyd-Canelo. Floyd aint getting near Martinez if Sergio pounds Chavez.
