What's next for Tony "The Bomber" Bellew?

Tony Bellew just stopped Miranda in 9 rounds and there just isn't enough talk on this forum about one of the best fighters at 175. I believe, that if there was any justice left in boxing, Bellew would get a Cleverly rematch but one of the biggest obstacles in the way of that fight ever happening is Bellew's feud with Warren.

So, with the Welshman unavailable, I think Bellew and Hearns should really be looking at world championship level opposition. I think Campillo could be a great fight, after that he could move in for a shot at a title against Cloud or Pascal. I don't think Bellew beats either guy but it would be great exposure and learning experience for such a good boxer.

    European title shot?

The domestic scene is completely done and dusted.

I think Eddie should be looking at bigger things than a European belt, time to move Bellew into the big leagues. Bellew v Campillo, in Liverpool, early 2013!!

Wouldn't put Bellew anywhere near Campillo.

You're right, if Cloud drops him with a straight right, Bellew puts a hole in Campillo's head.

You think Bellew is a bigger puncher than Cloud?

Where did all this talk of Bellew being a big puncher come from? Go watch his ferocious stoppage of McKenzie, brutal display of power.

Tony is a good solid fighter but he's no world beater, he may as well try to get a payday against one of the big boys I don't think his stock will go a whole lot higher than it is now.

Bellew is a big puncher, with enough power to put Campillo on his arse but that;s not why I think he could win. He is a far better boxer than most people give him credit for. He outboxed Cleverly for many rounds of their encounter, he adapted, changed the way he fought and outboxed Ovil and then did the same with the huge punching Pantera. It's not always pretty and can be boring at times but Bellew knows now that he can't always go in guns blazing, he has learnt to take a step back and assess the situation.

Don't get me wrong, I think Campillo is a fine fighter, deserved the nod against Cloud but he doesn't exactly hit hard. Bellew won't be as cautious, he'll let go more often, also, Campillo's been down a few times and was even ko'd by Cleverly's next opponent, a man who is being ridiculed as a worthy title challenger. Not only has Campillo been down several times, he is open to straight right hands, he hasn't done anything to improve that aspect of his fight. One of Bellew's best punches is...yep you guessed it, the right hand. Both to the head and to the body. Bellews quicker than Uzelkov or whatever his name is, is as skilled coming forward as Cloud and hits possibly as hard.

This is the perfect fight for Bellew.

its worth a shot anyway, he'd put up a decent showing though i don't think he'd win. But as u say he can **** a bit so there is a chance.
