Are Denis Boytsov and Rakhim Chakhkiev being ruined by inactivity?

Talented & exciting fighters like Rakhim Chakhkiev and Denis Boytsov need to remain active and fight decent opposition.

It's a shame to see Universum do this to boxers with world-class potential. They should let them out of their contracts so they can be free to sign with other promoters such as Sauerland and K-2.

If they'd have signed with Sauerland, they'd probably have better opponents on their resumes.

Say what you will about the Sauerland folk, they can push their guys into some damn good fights.

Their Cruiserweight and Heavyweight stables remind me of the Don King Heavyweight stable way back when.. except less talented.

Hopefully Rakhim captures a world title. He can produce some frightening KO's.

Great point, and yes they are. This is just one of the many things wrong with the current HW Division. Two super talents and not doing anything. Not only that, look at David Haye Mr Salesman.

For all of Haye's fault, he is also a very talented HW. He should be fighting Arreloa, Adamek,Thompson, Chambers, and guys like Boytsov to build up a resume INSTEAD OF constantly calling out the K2.

It's not just Haye, Wilder have great talent as well, wtf have he done. He's fighting god damn 5'10 Mall Cops 24+ fights in. Lennox Lewis fought Gary Mason in his 15th fight (Mason was Champ with a 35-0 record and 34 KO'S)

These guys are just so inactive and lazy, all they want is a K2 Pay check. Not to mention we got cowards like Povetkin who blatantly duck just about everyone with a pulse. All these guys from 3-20 should be fighting each other and learning from it. THEY SHOULD STOP WAITING. Even look at Puluv. I was a huge Kubrat fan, now he is 32 years old and what have he done? I respect Adamek because he fights everyone and is super active.

I think that Boystov is moving along slowly because he's 26. He has fought twice this year, if he fights once more then isn't that bad. Vitali is at the end of his career and Wladimir said he doesn't plan to fight on as long as Vitali. I think they are moving him along so that when he hits his prime here in a few years, Wladimir will be on the down slope or retired.

As of Chakaiev, he's fought three times this year and is climbing up the rankings. I think he will be in line for a title shot in the next 12-24 months.

They would both be better off with Sauerland, though.

They were both supposed to fight in August, but that event never materialized.
