cant help but think that Khans camp wouldve known this was a ridiculous request and were just looking for a way to part ways easily... however having said that Khans team have been pretty ******ed in the past!
I also think, as others do, that Khan needs a change in trainer... the Roach blitzkreig attack just doesnt work unless you can take a shot when you need to (see manny). someone who can calm him down and teach him to follow the basic fundamentals well is needed. Khan for his athletic abilities is not going to be a fighter who can throw uppercuts from the outside (vs Garcia) or throw lazy jabs (vs Maidana), because when he gets caught he is getting HURT! Steward springs to mind obviously because of his work with chinny fighters in the past.
I for one would love to see Khan succeed and fulfill his potential because despite his personality he is a true asset to boxing.Comment
