I believe Roach when he said thats what they wanted.

Khan has said before that Pacquiao should retire and he was already washed up, before recanting his assessment saying he felt Marquez lost a close decision.

Khan and his people probably said to Roach that Pacquiao is on his way out and Chavez is not serious when he trains, so focus on Khan who is young, has potential if he is given the proper attention.

Funniest crap ive heard all day.. You think Roach is getting rid of his superstar in Pacman for Amir Glass Chin Khan.. HELL NO..

Only way Roach stays with Khan is if Khan gets permission through the Boxing Commission to use a chin guard and or helmet during his fights..

      Team Khan is a JOKE.

That chin guard won't even save Khan he got rocked a lot in sparring with head gear and 16 ounce gloves on.

Khan has a big head, the guy thinks he is a super star, so this isn't hard to believe that he would make such a demand, I mean he even said Pacquiao should retire after the Marquez fight and that Pacquiao was already past it and washed up, only to later take it back and say after watching the fight again he gave it to Manny not Marquez.

Khan and his team are shady, remember they stole Ariza's contract from his luggage bag trying to re write a term so Ariza doesn't get paid and than sneak it back in the bag.

This is how sneaky and deceptive these guys are. I wonder what Angel Garcia has to say about Khan's treacherous ways

I seriously doubt it went down like that.
If anything i am sure they talked about how Manny has maybe two more fights tops and how it was time to look toward the future. If anything they probably asked Freddie to build a schedule around him rather making him got to Manilla when he fights.
They know Freddie would never drop Manny after all he has done for him.

I very much doubt they would ask him to ditch them lol, he probably just wanted more time to train, and give him some sort of priority in cases.
