Is this show sold out? I can see it losing money as its competing with a much more interesting and anticipated fight in martinez v chavez. Also i hope lopez pulls off the huge upset.

I think it is more about Lopez getting so less even after his sensational win over Victor Ortiz. Basically all of them fighters took less shares so Canelo could get 2Million.

Lopez is an idiot, why take the fight, some very decent fights he could have at light-welter an welter and build on his career, instead of cashing it in for a not very big pay day and that will be it.

Plus Alvarez's options were limited, his negotiation team were a joke.

but thats not the role of the promoter. The promoter's sole responsibility is to put on the best event possible for the least amount of expense possible.
