My take on the fight is,

However we see the first round play out is how the fight will go on. If Chavez can take Sergios power then Sergio lost, If Sergio can back Chavez up then Sergio got a good shot.
    Nobodys ever backed chavez up

Dont get me wrong martinez is the superior boxer but im putting money on chavez because of the size advantage, the age advantage, the top rank advantage and because theres no blood testing and i know chavez is juicing.

When your moneys on the line you have to consider all factors

I dont really think its about how chavez han handle a punch from Martinez. I really want to see if Martinez keeps landing on Chavez, and how his face is gonna look as the fight progresses. Just based on Chavez previous fights, he goes in face first, hardly any head movement and if thats going to happen the straight left is not gonna stop. Who cares if it backs up chavez or not, the left is gonna keep on coming and give Martinez enough time to GTFO the way.

I hope it doesn't come down to Chavez getting a gift. Martinez needs a KO/TKO to win..no going to the cards. I am pretty sure he knows that, that might just put it in Jr.s hands especially if they start trading. Still Martinez by TKO

After watching 24/7 the second episode and seeing Chavez not come into training and making Roach wait or miss sessions, me legs are getting weak !!!!

            LOL

How can Chavez be in great shape with a great game plan if you don't come in and train ??????

Somebody who pulls for Chavez to win please tell me,,,! LOL

Tell me , tell me ,,TELL ME PLEASE !!!!!!

After all that I am HOPING CHAVEZ will be in Shape and have the game plan down, if he is and does , Mr. Martinez is in for a world of hurt.

IF NOT and he was playing games with training then young Chavez will not like it come Sat nite cause we all know Martinez is for real.

Maybe I just got bits and pieces , grins

            hmmmmmmmmm

Unfortunately I think he's lost a step since then and there is something about Jr's style that makes me think it's going to be taken full advantage of.

It might just be age, but I think Sergio is on the decline athletically and his style heavily revolves around his athleticism. I don't think he moves his body as fast as he wills or wants it to anymore.
You think he has lost a step based off of what? Just a gut feeling...?

Martinez hasn't underestimated him. He's been saying a lot of crap to promote the fight, but I'm sure he's been training really hard for a long time to be at his best during the fight.

                      LOL,,, I heard that !!

IF I don't know much about the fighter I GO WITH THE TRAINER !

I just read two articles about Roach's take on the training.

Really what do we have to go by ??? Boxingscene posters ,, LOL they will flat lead you to the edge and kick you OFF , LOL !!

                      Same with 24/7

Same with everything, so I really go by lasts fights.

I will stick with the prediction that Chavez will break down Martinez and somewhere after 5 to 12 Chavez will brutally KO the great Martinez.

                      thanks mang
