Lou stated that Sergio was a small middle weight that had a small frame and couldn't make 168lbs "Its just not his body type" He stated he had to eat steak and potatoes to maintain his weight of 160.

Seems like such bull**** heheheh. He walks around at more than 168... seems he could fight at that level if he wasn't so old.
Josesito Lopez walks around more than 170, could he fight at 168 too? Your logic is skewed. These are big guys, deal with it. It doesn't mean they can fight at a weight just because they walk around above it. The Lopez belongs at 140, but by your logic, because he walks around at 170+, he should be at 168. Just stop.... stop.

You got it wrong and so did he. It's:

46 have tried and 2 of them were robbed. Possibly 3.

I have a funny feeling that si going to happen also. Unless Martinez tires out, Chavez is going to have one rough time

Notice how Chavez fans are calm and relaxed like the fighter himself. We don't have a worry in the world.

While Sergio Martinez's 11 fans are obsessing over 30 day weights. Hahaha.

Chavez’s weight was certified Sept. 7 by Dr. Antonio Salazar, and Martinez’s weight was certified Sept. 7 by Roger Anderson
Who's willing to bet Dr Salazar is either mexican or mexican-american and is on the Sulaiman/Chavez payroll? I'm sure Chavez really made 167.

I think JR. has the confidence of a young bully and rightfully so. Weights aside, JR. is physically bigger than Martinez in every way, he has a bigger frame and is going to be bigger fight night. JR. is going to try to pressure Martinez heavily and go striaght to the body. I think he has a solid chance, especially if he moves his head and cuts the ring off. Other than that Martinez has the advantage in terms of stamina and speed. Jr. really has nothing to lose, if he does he was always overrated, if he wins he takes out a legitimate p4p fighter. Still I have Martinez by TKO(cuts) 9th-10th round.

No, he's likely too old to successfully move up again. He's a middleweight. No higher, no lower.

I want his daddy to be the one who throws the towel in the ring. That would be priceless

so if mayweather/martinez were to fight, you want to see it at 160 and not at 154?

I'll admit that Ward-Dawson killed whatever excitement I might have had about Mayweather-Martinez at 154. Martinez may not be a big middleweight, but he isn't making 154 healthy anymore.

If that fight were to happen, I'd prefer it at 160. It's not worth Mayweather's time otherwise. It would be lose lose.
