I guess it depends upon what you consider peanuts.

I think I read that Alvarez got paid Ł2M for the fight with Shane. If Lopez makes half of that then I think that's a fair deal. He's at a size disadvantage and should be compensated for that, but Alvarez is the big name and a purse split similar to Ward-Dawson wouldn't be that unfair IMO.

Let's just say Canelo is making 2M from this fight. Id consider peanuts if Lopez was fighting for 500K-600K.

Same way Dawson was only making 600K vs Ward when Ward was making 1.3M plus he had all the advantages.

lopez should have worked on nothing but core. I mean he aint gonna put on power, But he can tighten up that core and make it solid in that time.
