Hey im not gonna say ward could of stopped froch cause i really dont know but what i dont get is why so many in this thread think its impossible as if froch chin is granite. Sorry but it is not. Its good but not granite. It wasnt granite when Taylor put him down and it wasnt granite when dirrell was able to hurt him.

But with that said if his hand wasnt broken he might have been able to force the ref to stop it maybe but he wouldnt stop him with 1 shot. I dont see ward stopping anyone with 1 shot.

No one thinks its impossible for Froch to be KO'd, they just think its impossible for Ward to do it. Yeah Froch was hurt by Dirrell and Taylor but i'd bet anything that both those guys carry more pop than Ward.

Like i said, we will have to see in Wards future fights just how much pop he does have, right now its hard to tell if he had power or Dawson was weak at the weight. I'm leaning toward the latter.

The best result he would have got is a TKO. Froch was lost in that fight and just could not adapt to anything Ward came with.

Ward could have been capable of forcing the ref to stop the fight through a schooling, but let's be real.....Ward ain't knocking Froch out.

Virgil Hunter is an embarassment to team Ward with the shit he's coming out with lately. 'Ward will knock everybody out', 'Bring Calzaghe out of retirement'......fuck outta here with that shit.

I think it was both, coming down in weight definitely didnt help dawson but at the same time i think ward does have "keep you honest" power like a Bhop. The kind of power that wont knock you out with 1 shot but the kind of power that makes you weary of just coming in. When guys like that hits you with a perfect shot to the chin that you dont see coming it can definitely put a guy down.
