Me personally... for a start, though he can undoubtedly ****, he's thoroughly mediocre as a boxer, and as his wobble from Monte Barrett of all people showed, he's not got the sturdiest chops in the world. Against a fired-up Lewis he looked like an amateur.

I also get sick and tired of seeing the same names go up for the titles... it's been like the Golota/Rahman merry-go-round these last few years. Forget the cash appeal, treat it as a proper sport and see who deserves a shot.

I'd like to see more Europeans go up for the title, when they've earnt it. They'd probably get knocked to bits, but it'd be interesting to see how, say, Matt Skelton would do at that level. If he gets smashed ****less... fair enough, at least I know. If Rahman was European he'd be forgotten by now.

He was given the title when Vitali retired. Boxing needs Toney vs. Rahman! And soon!

i dont mind boxers who are arrogant, mouthy, and braggards like james toney, zab judah, and floyd mayweather. i like those guys cuz they ARE as good as they say they are, they have skills, and they prove it, too.

but guys like rahman, ruiz, and rob calloway talk like theyre the **** when in fact they are ****. they dont back up what they say, they dont have any skill, and they just make themselves look like dumbasses.

rahman lost to bums in his career, his only highlight is the win over Lewis, he got knocked outta the ring by maskaev i mean come on. Its to bad Vitali had to leave, oh well were stuck with this now...

The thing is [warning: he's going to talk about Danny Williams again] I'd like to see how someone like Danny Williams could do at that level. I'm not saying he'd do well, or he'd even win a belt, but I'd be CURIOUS. But I'll never get to find out, because instead of giving all-comers (and in the current line-up, pretty much anyone's as good as another) a shot, it's Rahman again.

And there's no interest for me there because I already KNOW how he'd do. He'd do badly.
