What a bunch of housewives. He might lose he should retire............. WTF? Are you the only boxing fans in the world that don't like competitive fights? You *****ed about Lewis retiring with unfinished business but want Vitali to do the same. Hopefully his fans retire with him boxing doesn't need fans that don't like competition.

Vitali has nothing left to prove, he's a top 10 ATG.

He looked a bit lethargic in there Saturday, but still won very easily. I think he should go out with a **** and try to KO David Haye.

If he retires, Haye will never shut up about it. May as silence him before leaving the fight game.

People shouldn't take anything Haye says seriously.

David Haye is someone who's name value lays in his skills and abilities rather then his resume. Let me briefly explain what that means.

Mike Tyson's victories over Razer Ruddock were universally praised by media and press, not because Ruddock had some sort of ATG Resume but because he was one of the most avoided punchers in the HW Division at the time. Razer had a relentless style and great punching power, his talents and abilities far surpass his resume.
The same goes for Golota-Lewis. Golota's resume might not be all that eye catching but his sheer abilities and talent made the Lewis win a good one.

The same now applies to David Haye. I don't really like David Haye, but even a hater must admit he's got a lot of talent. In fact, probably the 2nd most talented HW behind Wladimir in this era from a raw ability point of view. If an aging Vitali somehow KO David Haye (who is reaching his prime) it will be a massive massive win for his legacy.
If Haye beat Vitali , the only people who will talk **** about VK is the boxing forum nerds and trolls. Their opinions are 100% meaningless and by no ways affect VITALI'S overall legacy standings. So Vitali is in a win-win situation. Take the fight I say.

Now if Vitali have injuries and don't want to risk his health, I whole heartily agree to his decision in not taking the fight. But if he can still perform at maybe 60-70% of what a Prime VK could, I say do it.
i wouldn't say vitali is in a win win situation because he is aware that he lost to the two best he ever fought so even though he is clearly passed his best now if he lost to haye people will always say ... vitali klitschko? well he was great at fighting bums but he couldn't beat someone decent, he lost to the 3 best guys he fought etc etc. I'd say that would play on his thoughts just a little - he really should have gone all out to make the fight a few years back instead of trying to push the contracts too much in his favour.

I dont want him to retire until he has fought Haye.

12 months ago I thought Vitali would batter Haye with ease, but he looks SO slow and ready for the taking.
I'm starting to favour Haye in this match up and I dont want him to retire until that fight is done so we can see the outcome and not have to fantasy guess it for years to come.

I would still like to see the Haye fight.

I think Vitali has earned the right to do what he wants and I wont complain if he hangs them up. However, he doesn't have that one significant victory and David Haye would be that. Even if Haye isn't a natural heavy, he's still the most talented one there is. Yes, Vitali is slowing but he still holds a huge size advantage while Haye holds a huge speed advantage....it would be good.

Haye doesnt have a champion's heart. Champions want to avenge their losses.
And how do you reckon hes goes about getting that rematch? Wlad struggled compared to this other fights. Theres no way he'd accept a rematch. Unless he wants to avenge his Brothers defeat to Haye and to unify the division that is.
