Um, WRONG. Manny wanted to fight JMM immediately after their draw. JMM balked at the purse he was getting for the 2nd fight because Nacho believed he should have had the bigger purse. JMM then left Top Rank and went to Golden Boy. Add to this the feud between Top Rank and Golden Boy and you have a 4-year wait.

and JMM end-up fighting chris john, making 35,000 (compared to pac's offer of 750,000) and ultimately losing to Chris John (which he never ask for a rematch)...

With not much time left in his career, I don't see why he'd waste time with a fight that he unofficially won in most of the worlds eyes. Noone counts this fight against Manny.

The Marquez IV fight may be a waste too, but it will be a good fight at least, and at least there is something to prove there.
