Because Hagler Was Your Fav, Hence Why Ur In Denial

Leonard clearly beat Hagler. I've seen the fight several times. Leonard was the only guy that never fought "Marvin's fight". Marvin always baited everyone to trade and go toe to toe, and Hagler wins those fights. Leonard fought his own fight, said clearly he was not going to stand toe to toe with Marvin like everyone else did, famously Hearns and look what happened. Leonard was one of the greatest "Boxers" of all time. He was smarter, a better boxer, and more effective than Hagler was, hence his win after a 5 year layoff, with no tune up fight, over the great Marvin Hagler. Hagler fans will never accept that, but true unbiased boxing fans and experts of the game, no Leonard pulled off "genius" that epic night. No fault to Hagler, Leonard dictated his fight plan, and Hagler didn't have an answer. He was used to luring everyone into his style, his game plan, and when Leonard chose not to, Hagler couldn't adapt.

I still say Ray didn't do enough to beat Marvin. And just so you know he was off for a little less then three years and was even younger then Hagler by a couple of years.

1 lineal, 4 world titles in 2 divisions. Haye's resume is better than Vitali's.

I just thought it was funny that you said he defined his career as a cruserweight. No, actually I find it rather hilarious and also kind of absurd. And its rather sad that Haye is chasing a 41 year old fighter that has one foot in retirement. So he may possibly get the fight he needs to define his career. In other words its Haye that really needs Vitali not the other way around.

That says more about the greatness of Lennox. Lennox was still the Lineal champ. Lol I can't imagine what he would have done to Haye. Probably would have turned him into a vegetable after the first round .

Vitali has beat nobody worth a damn, neither has Haye. But Haye being a 2 division champ pushes his resume ahead of Vitali's.

Haye beat the lineal champ at CW, Haye won, Vitali failed. How can anyone consider Vitali HOF his resume is worse than Frank Bruno's. LOL

Sure he had a defining fight, he just didn't happen to win that fight.

Okay, so in your opinion there is no reason for Haye to fight Vitali, right?

Of course there is Vitali called him out, he has a world title and it would open the door for a Wlad rematch.

Vitali would get the best win of his career, keep his word and not do what he criticised Lewis for doing.
