He rematched Brewster and TKO'd him with a jab. He would have killed sanders.

Will Vitali doesent need this fight then, cause the haters still wont give him credit.

And beating Haye, who was easily dominated by Wladimir - and, let's be honest, didn't even look as though he tried to win the fight - would be a defining fight? Give it a rest, David!

I do like Haye, and I wouldn't mind seeing this fight, but Haye seems to forget he was easily handled by Wlad. By the looks of Vitali the other night, he'd still present big problems for Haye - he's way more combative than Wlad, hits harder and is only slightly less awkward. I still hope the fight happens, of course.

He didn't rematch Sanders though, a major blemish on his career.

And he'll get credit for beating the next best HW aside from he and Wlad, which would be as good a win as Byrd and Haye were for Wlad. It would be far and away his best win.

It wouldn't make him an ATG, because as I said earlier, the fighters in their era weren't good enough for them to get to that status.

He'll get credit it would be his best win but it doesn't move him anywhere near the ATG's.

At the moment Wlad is on another level to any HW including Vitali. Wlad has far superior technique, speed and power.

if the fight does happen, i'd go out on a limb and say i reckon the likely outcome is haye gets the win over vitali goes on to lose a rematch with wlad and then retires a very wealthy man.
