Danny Garcia vs. Lucas Matthysse?????

I really think this fight will come off next. Matthysse just won the WBC interim title and Garcia is the WBC champion. Garcia will most likely beat Morales again, a pointless fight really, but Garcia seems to want to fight anyone.

But ill entertain it for debating purposes, Lucas will brutally stop Garcia within 5 rounds. Garcia will look like Cano did against Morales all busted up.

I don't see it happening... Idk why but maybe cause of what they did to Ajose and Matthysse obviously being a much more dangerous fighter. He would derail the Garcia train which just got going.

I think it could happen. Garcia seems to want to fight anyone, anywhere. I don't think he'll shy away from Matthysse. I could be wrong though, but he and his team don't seem like that.

I think Matthysse will win a close decision. I'll admit I didn't thin much of Garcia, but he does do everything pretty well, but he doesn't do something great. But he's a very solid/good fighter, and he can take a punch it seems. I don't think Matthysse will stop him, and I think it's a close fight.

I think it has to do more with GB than just Garcia. Garcia just started shining, do you think GBP would risk losing that?

all matthysse would need to worry about is garcia's left hook...other than that I see matthysse beating danny by late or mid round stoppage. danny doesn't really do anything special other than throw that nice left hook of his..

Let's not forget here of Garcia's wide looping shots. You don't see Matthysse getting inside of those and blasting Garcia? Matthysse has definitely faced faster and better boxers than Garcia. And if Garcia decides to exchange I think he's pretty much fked.

Danny has power in that left hook of his, but he is a very basic boxer, lets not act like Khan didnt outbox him until his glass jaw a was hit. There was genuine worry in Garcias corner until he landed that punch

Its Golden Boy that will make sure it doesn't happen. The Showtime team read a tweet from DLH during the fight last night saying Lucas is a monster or something like that. Oscar will make sure not to let Danny inside the ring with a Scourge of God like Matthysse.
