Like another poster said when you sign to fight Williams you have pretty much exhausted your options.

So I dont get it? Those 2 fights didnt happen and that wasnt Sauls fault at all.

So i guess he gets credit for beating Williams and Kirkland, makes perfect sense

You're looking at what he could have done compared to what he could have done.
He fought more people not a JMW for his title than who were.

          4. Alfonso Gomez - Moved up from 147 to fight him.
          3. Kermit Cintron - Coming from two straights loses and was dominated by Molina the fight before.
          2. Shane Mosley - Dominated by Mayweather, strugke mightly with Mora and then got beat handly by Pacquiao. Also moved up to fight Alvarez.

Because instead of Lopez, he should have tried to fight Trout, Rosado, or Bundrage. Hopefully for December he'll fight Budnrage and than fight the Trout-Cotto winner in May.

                  Of course you'd say this.

Anyways, Alvarez resume is crap. His only alright win was Rhodes, and looking back why was Rhodes in the Top 10 at the time???

If Alvarez wants to become legit, he needs to fight Bundrage for that IBF title in December, than fight the Trout-Cotto winner in May. That's what he NEEDS to do.

A better question would be why do you act as if Canelo actually fought them? Signed to fight Williams and Kirkland and actually fight them are two very different things in case you didnīt notice.

As a Canelo fan he should of picked on a 154 pound boxer. If I criticize boxers like Hopkins for picking on the smaller guys, Canelo who I like won't get a free pass either. Bitch move!
