Ward s not even that impressive. It's the fact that Dawson sucks even worse that made him look good. I saw way too many dirty tactics by ward! Dawson did not even look like he wanted to be there. Straight pusz! Final thought: boring ass fight

Yeah yeah...boxing should be about fighting outside....lets make fights five rounds, make the gloves bigger.... God forbid there should be An occasional head butt as guys try to get position inside....and fighters should never tie a guy up....

What you call dirty is skills...the ability to fight at a range where one can get cut inside with butts. Jockeying for position causes butting.

Real skills sometimes do not look sexy but they win fights. If guys like dawson, especially with his talent learned how to do more then fight outside....maybe this fight would have been competitive.

At the end of the day this wasn't such a dumb move for Dawson because he still has his titles @ 75 and can go back up there, beat Cloud and Pascal then wait to lose a rematch to Ward @ 75. Not too bad.

He is #1 p4p in my opinion. Has taken on stiffer competition than Floyd and Manny. I think the weight did affect Dawson, he wasnt taking those shots well at all. Everything was rocking him. Not taking anything away from Ward as i think he knows exactly what to do all the time. Dude is pretty flawless. Gotta love Dawson for no excuses and giving props. Classy fighter.

I'm sure even Ward would tell you that he can't match the credentials of Floyd. Floyd has dominated for years and still is dominating. This win is definitely bigger than anything Martinez has done and if not for the politics Pac would have loss to JMM before losing to Bradley.

I think it was inevitable. Dawson had 2 choices go down or go up. He could've prolonged facing Ward but they were on a collision course. The biggest money fight for Dawson was Ward now if he can beat Pacscal and Cloud he's back in the money. He did lose bad but so did Khan.
