  • Why Are People Complaining About Ruiz/Valuev?

why are people defending john the bum ruiz? who cares if he was robbed? who cares about him? and who cares if he retires?

its not like he contributed anything positive to boxing.

He was an underdog. He wasn't nescesarily appealing to watch, but he did what he had to do to win. He isn't too fast, too powerful, too slick, too filled with boxing ability, but he manages to win win. And if I have a choice between a mediocre fighter who fights anybody and a mediocre caveman who probably wont leave Eastern Europe... the choice for me is obvious.

if you wanna give credit to some1 for ruiz's "winning abilities" give credit to don king for fixing as many fights and bribing as many refs and judges as he could.

I actually agree with you. I mean, we have to respect Ruiz because he did fight everyone and beat some good opponents. But I could really careless if he is or isn't the champion. I also don't care if he stops fighting. And I think 90% of boxing fans would agree with me.

John Ruiz at least fights everyone....IN AMERICA...

Nicolay Valuev is a chump russian piece of **** hype..
He fights in Germany, already lost to Larry Donald...

The heavyweight division controls boxing, Russian boxers RUIN boxing....no offense, but it's TRUE! Same with Germans!

They use their cheating tactics to be so overrated, nobody wants to watch a European hype...

              He's like 7'2, can't even fight..
I bet a midget Toney would whomp his ass..

you think oquendo, rahman, golota, holyfield, and toney feel like they got a fair fight?

deserving champion are the last two words i would call john the bum ruiz. he lost the title 3 times and twice it was given back to him on a silver platter (without beating the guys who beat him).

do you think he would be deserving if don king suddenly admitted that he bribed every ref and judge in every john the bum ruiz fight (which he most certainly did)?

Don't forget, Ruiz got a gift against Golota.
