Adrien Broner or Berto would have beaten a weight drain top fighter none of you would be talking about should they be p4p.

Why didn't he want to move up? Because he wasn't done with 168 and because Dawson was the one who called him out, and volunteered to do the fight at 168. Who was more desperate for this fight?

Ward has always said he will leave the 168 division when he unifies all the belts. Perhaps if Dawson hangs on to that Light-Heavyweight TItle of his long enough, Ward will move up and fight him for his title. It's up to Dawson.

I'm leaning that way. If everyone was the same size, he'd be tough to beat. Youth on his side. Prime counts.

Ward at least deserves to have his face on the BoxingScene Banner at the top of the page.

              He Should Be!

Not because of just this fight either...but because of his BODY OF WORK over the last 2 Years...his Resume ****S on everyone else resume in the sport of boxing and with Abraham recently winning a title and Froch destroying Bute and kinda SOLIDIFIES to me just how tough that Tournament was but Ward was just that good to make all those fights look easy

Only fighter left really at 168 is maybe Andre Dirrell I guess...or if Bute beats Froch in the rematch but to be honest I give neither one of those fighters a CHANCE against Ward...I just don't see nobody beating him anytime soon...It Will take a MENTAL LAPSE from Ward to defeat Ward and chances of that happening is VERY SLIM!

I think he deserved to be p4p #1. But when you look at Manny who has arguably lost to JMM, and officially lost to Bradley in a controversial bout, but somehow still being ranked at P4P #1 on Boxingscene, then you can automatically assumes that they're not going to rank lesser-known fighters over Floyd and Manny as a long they're active.

Ward could have moved up in weight at a catchweight then move down easily.Ward said he might consider fighting for a light-heavy weight title after the Froch fight but when Dawson asks for a catchweight Ward turns it down and says he has to come down to his weight.

My whole point is, Ward has beat all the TOP competition very EASILY!!! When the top three P4P has lost or struggled with top competition!!!
