pacquiao may not be a mastermind, but I'll give him the benefit of the doubt by saying he knows better than to step up against a Mayweather-Alvarez event. Floyd won't fight on December 8th if Manny is fighting on that same date simply because Floyd is about making the most money possible. That won't be possible if the two biggest attraction are fighting seperatly. But if it were up to me, I'd have them both fight on December 8th against other opponents, see what their numbers do, and split it according to their the PPV buys. Use these two fights as a tool to determine who gets how much.
