I think Cotto has been boxing longer than you have, and he knows himself better than you do.

If weight was such an issue

A, he wouldn't have agreed to the catchweight and tried to compromise
B, he would have said something by now to try to discredit the Pacquiao win.

Instead the only people complaining about the weight is everyone other than Cotto.

But hey, Mayweather said he was weight drained so it must be true.

You know who has trouble making weight? Brandon Rios.

Can you imagine if he moved up to 140 and asked for a 138 catchweight?

      lol...
You still didn't answer the question. What did Cotto do when he had trouble making 140?

well its hardly surprising imo. cotto is at 154 now. pacquiao is not a junior middleweight.

and to be honest pac vs cotto 2 is not a fight we need to see, he has already stopped him.

          A. Who turns down that kind of money? That was the most he had ever made at that time. Team Pac/Bob Arum knew they had him.

          B. He did, he said he was not comfortable. I believe he said it many times leading up to the Mayweather fight where Floyd made sure Cotto was comfortable. It was annoying just how many times Floyd said the word comfortable due to Cotto saying he wasn't comfortable vs Pac. Then to top it off, Pac being the nice guy that he is, warned Floyd of just how dangerous Cotto is.

You dudes crack me up. Always bringing up Floyd. Pacman has officially asked for 3 catchweights to fight Cotto. Floyd fought him at 154. The fighter of the decade would not.

Lol at wouldn't have agreed. What bob wants, he gets. As long as he promotes a fighter. he gets what he wants.

It's hardly surprising that Cotto is at 154 & Pacman is a welterweight?? But why does Pacman keep trying to get the fight at a catchweight then?? Why does he continue to call on Cotto instead of fighting welterweights??

Which is why Mosley and JMM had to break ties with GBP and sign with TR in order to get Pac and just like Cotto had to break ties with TR in order to get a fight with Floyd... Not to mention Mayweather leaving Bob Arum in order to get Hatton and Hoya.

Funny how Bob Arum was the reason all that had to be accomplished in order for those fights to happen.

When a fighter trains to be at a certain weight thats lighter than he normally goes at , he must work around a certain body weight (mass) through camp , Oscar , Cotto and Margo all would have worked with less body mass throughout camp knowing they had to make a light weight , body mass is what holds the water , less mass means less water , means less weight , which also means less de-rehydration scale from dry to wet . .

You getting your head around it yet ? to understand the bodys balancing act regarding hydration you need to look outside of this forum .
do you really know all this stuff or you just googled it?

no, its hardly surprising that pac would want a catchweight with cotto because cotto is a junior middleweight, and pac has never been anywhere near junior middleweight weight wise.

thats why he wants it at a catchweight.

its bob arum that wants him to fight cotto again, beause it makes money.

Bull$#1t. His entire team wants to fight Cotto at mannyweight rematch because they want Manny to look good because he hasn't looked good in 3 fights. Jinky Pacman came out & said they wanted Cotto early this year, not arum.
