The Floyd-Cotto myth is STILL being perpetuated even in this thread. Cotto won no more than 3 rounds. That being said each round was competitive that's why the fight was "close".Comment

^^^^^^ yess !!!! Winning two clear rounds (4 and 5 ) and the other 10 being toss up/ flurry for 30 seconds @ the end of the round is not my definition of domination ... How did pac win the 9th-12th rds. ? How'd he win rds. 1-2 ? Or round 7 for that matter ?Comment

Cotto was competitive the entire fight. Floyd had to work for that win, and thats what made it impressive. It never takes long for the myths to begin. Fan boys start spamming nonsense until people start beliving it.
The best one so far in 2012 is....
"Floyd vs Cotto was a close fight "
I've seen the cotto boys spamming this one.
If you classify being hopelessly outclassed for 10 of the 12 rounds as close then yeah, I guess.
What other myths are being perpetrated?Comment

Golovkin punches like a HW and would KO ANYBODY in boxing from 154-175...one day it was Ward, next day it was Floyd, and yesterday it was God...I've seen threads where dudes said he would KO ALL of them

That Cotto is great at 154.
That Pac beat JMM in last fight.
That PPV is not bad for the sports.
That Ppl who pay PPV DOES NOT have batter person syndrome. Claim would never buy another fight and ponies up for JCCJ and Martinez.Last edited by sdcluser; 09-05-2012, 02:14 AM.Comment
