No, Cotto lost because Pac's style is ALL wrong for Cotto.
He gets fcked up by speed and Southpaws. Watch the Cotto-Zab fight.
In Pac you have a fast southpaw who doesn't stop after 5 rounds like Zab does.
His defense going forward has never been there and his chin is good but not great.
Pac hits from weird angles that you don't see and Cotto has never been incredibly hard to tag.
Pac's style beats Cotto 9/10 times. No amount of weight makes up for the fact that Cotto is not too hard to hit and his face swells up easily.Comment

We can do this all day, the fact is there is a bit of hypocrisy. Floyd has a 2 lb advantage, it is the biggest sin in boxing. Cotto fights 1 lb less then his last fight, it's no big deal...
