no he lost because pacquiao is a better fighter and a bad style match for cotto. it wouldn't matter if you were in pac's corner, he still would have beat cotto up.

The fact that cotto/PAC did a catchweight fight will always put a little doubt in some people's mind about the result, the fact is tho the 2pound wouldn't of made a difference the outcome would of been the same. PAC is a bad style 4 cotto n always will b. It's a shame PAC didn't just fight him at 147 as there wouldn't b all this arguing about if it made a difference.

Cotto lost to Pacquiao because Pacman punched too hard. But there will be threads started over and over whining about weight til the end of time, get a life and move on.

Cotto said in his post interview that the difference was Manny's speed and the angles that those punches came at ..... due to this, Cotto said he couldn't see where the punches were coming from.

what ever happened to fans just saying the better man won ! now a days, fans and fighters always have a reason why they lost

arim con blaming his lost on roach

cotto blaming why he loosed on being weight drained

marquez blaming why he lost on the judges

why cant they just admit the better man won and take the lost with grace and humility instead of crying . after cotto first lost to manny he admitted manny was just the better man that night . but after a few yrs past by he need an escape goat so he claimed he was drained

Does that mean the better man won with PAC/Bradley, rios/abril Williams/Lara etc. Sometimes the better man doesn't win (cotto/PAC wasn't one of those fights tho).
