Definitely don't think that is the fight Khan should take at the moment. He should take a soft touch, rebuild some confidence while working on some defense tactics, and build back up to a big match. Oh yeah, and AVENGE YOUR LOSS TO PRESCOTT, KHAN.

It is kind of relative who is better but Matthysse would beat up on Garcia from what I see and is probably the more difficult guy to deal with for most fighters.

Bradley, Khan, Maidana and Alexander were considered the best. Then Peterson, Lucas and Garcia made their way in.

Not exactly in order...but...

1) Maidana fell to Khan
2) Alexander fell to Bradley
3) Khan fell to Peterson
4) Lucas fell to Alexander
5) Bradley vacates to 147
6) Khan, Alexander and Garcia are left to be considered the top
7) Khan fell to Garcia

I say, "the best" comes down to Garcia (with victory over top rated Khan) vs Alexander (with victory over top rated Matthysse)
