That was one of the ******est things I've ever read. You don't know ***** about boxing......

No need to blame Mayweather Sr.

Also, by all accounts he didn't follow the strategy Mayweather had come up with that night.
Exactly! And don't forget he was crying in the dressing room like a child about to see the dentist.....

Guzman has won titles in 3 different weight classes, is undefeated, and is renowned as one of the most talented fighters in boxing. And, at 140, albeit against journeyman level fighters, he's shown good power at the weight, and his speed and timing is still intact.

Hell, I'd actually favor Guzman to win, likely by UD, but a stoppage isn't unlikely either, given Guzman's unbelievable timing and speed. I used to like Khan, but more and more, his delusional comments really just rub me the wrong way. Khan, some friendly advice, take a step back and analyze yourself, the people around you, and your career, and make smart decisions. Because, a year from now, you might not be so happy with the choices you've made, be smart.
      Great post!

Dont know about Khan leavin Roach but(may have been a bad move)but why the hell would he fight Guzzleman...its a lose-lose situation....pretty much for any fighter.

I still dont get why Guzzle dont make it to the top the traditional way, fight the hard and hungry up and comers, the guys who want the comp. Dont tell me there is a shortage. Remember there are guys out there that have less of a name than Guzzles and want to make a name from his bumass.
Guzzleman? What a cornball! You need to step away from the keyboard & get out more.....

I agree with him to a certain extent but then again I do not. I agree that he could be even better if he learned better defense and the nuances of infighting sure. Would he and Pac be the best in the world, if they had better defense? No. Personally while I am no fan of his, from a skillset perspective, Khan has way more skill than Pac. What many fairweather fans don't understand is that from a boxing perspective, Pac really has a limited skillset in all honesty. Pac has speed and angles, which generate power. While that has made him a superstar and he has been fun to watch, from a pure boxing perspective he is mediocre at best. RJJ is another example of a great fighter who had speed, angles, reflexes, etc. and was an amazing fighter. However when he lost the speed and angles he became almost a punching bag. RJJ actually has boxing skill though so imagine what Pac is on his way to becoming? Once Pac slows down, he will be a punching bag in the ring, trust me. In fact he can be hit at well now and could be his whole career...he just has a decent chin and is fast and has great movement. I think Khan is a pain in the ass sure, but he is definitely a skilled boxer. If he could find a trainer that could change his "amateurish" style he could be a lot more dangerous. Roach can train pure offensive fighters sure, but what fighter has he really built from the beginning? Linares, Khan, Pac, Quillin, etc...all came to him already about at their peak. The only fighter he can truly say he may have built up legitimately was JCC Jr. But the jury is still out on Jr. and we will see 9/15 what he is really made of. Khan just needs to learn how to stick to a game plan and not get into firefights. He is mentally weak unfortunately and his problem is not really his skillset at all. It is his focus and commitment to a strategy.

I just can't help but hate this lil pu**y... Nothing good ever parts his lips. Ninja just got sparked & beaten twice in a row & he's talkin about credible opps???!This kid is more than delusional. He's got good hand-speed that's it! When has he ever been considered the best offensive fighter in the world. Defense won't solve his problem. His fighting instincts are off as a tactician & actual thoughtful fighter. He doesn't seem to be aware of his attributes nor his deficiencies. The prollem is not defense. It's his own self image & awareness of who he actually is & playing to those advantages. & he lets the world know this every time he speaks. I'm actually waiting for this bi*ch to get beaten again.

He sounds like a rat to me always blaming others for deals gone wrong. Wouldn't bat an eye if I heard him blaming da Executiona for his next KO loss.

Here he is again with more silly comments. He sure is committed 100% to talking absolute BS.

All of this talk about bringing this guy in or that guy in, is pointless. He could get whoever he likes to "tighten up his defence" but he is completely missing the point.... he can't think during a fight even at the best of times, and certainly not in high pressure situations when he needs to use intelligence. He fights much like the way he talks in his interviews.... Like some kind of pugilistic brain fart.

In this case, it's not about someone reminding him to move his head or whatever theory Khan conjures up next time he tells us how he's a "big, unbeatable fighter" now thanks to the new coach. He could bring George Gainford and Archie Moore back from the dead to help him but it wouldn't matter. Ring intelligence and poise are things you can't just teach because to be able to stand in the fire while maintaining composure in order to make a guy miss and make him pay, is for the most part nature and not nurture.

Even if he can't ever utilise skills like those.... He could still help himself quite a lot by changing his attitude, that would be a good start.

He's not seeing it. He was used, built up, protected, and even after kissing the canvas, as in lips on the floor, he still believes the old clippings. He'll be living in the past forever.

It's not just Khan's defence that he needs to work on, it's his ring IQ which is something that can't always be taught.

Khan got caught with a good shot, what annoyed me most is how he handled himself afterwards.

He got up straight away instead of taking the 8 count to prove what a "warrior" he is, then proceeds to trade while on ***** st.

You don't blame that on bad defence, that's just ring ******ity.

joan guzman would only use this **** as a warm up fight nothing more.
"somebody more credible than joan guzman"? is he for real? oh, no hes not...hes already been badly kod twice (one of which was a nobody)and battered silly by maidana and beaten by peterson.
so i ask/ed then and now, why do/have people rated this amateur styled dreamer?
dont answer, i already know the answer......****.
joan guzman would show pro speed here and look good doing it, and power, chin to match.
but, shame he has "history" though.
guzman by easy ko, would have money on him to do so too.
oh, and khan, dont come back here to england because your embarrassing.
