It's very, very easy to deny he is too big for JWW, since he couldn't even weigh in at welterweight for a welterweight fight in his LAST FIGHT.

Clearly he belongs at 154 though. He's tall!

What canelo is doing is pissing mne off..what about the other dudes in the division..do they have to wait that canelo get old and die with the Tittle..now he is gonna fight a140 pouder then he may fight another old guy or go for Jorge arce to defend his 154 Tittle..the kid is so afraid of loose like nobody whom i see before..thing like this kill the sport..he should have said to his promoters that's a shame, that he should not fight a guy 2 division below him..what about Lara, vanes, and all the other 154 lb, do they have to move to another weigh division cuz the ***** champion just wont fight any top.ten in his own division..shame in canelo..shame in golden boy..shame to the ppl who are killing the sport i love..

I managed to read through this mess until I got here. Canelo was set to fight Kirkland who ducked Canelo by faking a shoulder injury, then PWill nearly died, then Ortiz' jaw broke.

it is good for your mind say to yourself that Kirkland duck canelo by faking and injury..he fought angulo, Molina, but he got injured for fight hard fights not against Kermit cintron( who came from a loss to Molina)or old washed out mostley...Paul Williams came from two loses..and Ortiz is not in his weight division(and also caming from a loss)..for what i see u have to lose to have a Tittle shot against canelo..

He's only 21 my friend, let him blossom. And I don't care if they are coming off losses, there's no denying that Kirkland, PWill, and Ortiz would have been stiff competition. Ortiz would have came off a win had he beat Lopez anyway, and Ortiz is a huge WW that can fight at SWW at any given moment.

I agree with u that he is very young..but i wont be mad if he vacate his belt and then fight smaller guys forever..what i dont like is that he defend his Tittle 6 times against nobody near the top ten..i want to see the number 1 & 2 fight for the Tittle..if not available the second, the third..but opportunities for who earn it..not for old baldomir, cintron or mostley
