i guess i'm a sellout. i can't stand the jr. i'm actually getting tired of seeing julio sr too.he's at every fight and they are mostly talking about his career more than they are of julio jr.by the way jr is the worse champion in mexican boxing history. hope maravilla wins.

If Martinez can keep his emotions in check and stay calm I think he will win. He needs to do it convincingly, though. Either by messing up Chavez Jr's face - closing his eyes, opening cuts, so he wins by a wide decision, or by knocking him out. I don't think he'll get a close decision.

I don't think Chavez Jr will be able to pressure-fight as effectively as he did with Rubio and Lee. Martinez is much quicker on his feet and will come at Chavez Jr from awkward angles. It's going to be a very tough night for both fighters. I'm very much looking forward to it.

Martinez is a GREAT FIGHTER, he can whup May Jr but he can't whup Chavez JR.Chavez will pressure him throw body shots with dynamite on the end of them, Martinez will feel the power and begin to wilt and come to his end and no one will help him.

                  Chavez by KO
Now, this has to me the most non-sense comment I have ever read on this forum!

It really surprises me how many folks now suddenly believe Jr. is some granite chinned, unstoppable monster. The dude struggled with ZBIK, and was losing on all three judges scorecards to Lee before he knocked out the weak-chinned Irishman. Sergio is going to thoroughly dominate Chavez Jr. Martinez is going to tee off on Chavez Jr. all night long, and by fights end, Jr. will be a frustrated bloody mess, you mark my words.

Chavez's big body too much for tiny Martinez

Chavez at 180lbs will wear out the small Jr. middleweight and tire him out. A 37 year old martinez will not hurt the larger Chavez. Look for a Chavez decision. Boxing higher ups want Chavez to win so the fight is fixed if it goes to a decision.
