Geale just fought abroad, I can't blame him for having a big domestic fight and cashing in before traveling again.
Comments Thread For: Geale Could Face Sam Soliman Instead of Gennady Golovkin

of course he wants to fight at home. That way he doesn't have to face GGG. Golovkin would murder geale.
Rest assured everytime you hear about a possible opponent for Gennady, the very next day has that fighter linked to someone else........shook onesComment

I have no interest in Geale-Soliman but the Australians do and I'm not sure how big this fight would be over there but it'd definitely be bigger than Golovkin-Geale anywhere.
Shame the sanctioning bodies are ****s and will strip Geale regardless.Comment

Everyone will be up in arms if Geale decides to fight Soliman for a homecoming bout but the underlining issue is there are very few if any network timeslots left and if Geale/Golovkin can't land one then this fight isn't going to happen and shouldn't so they might have to wait until 2013
Of course the preposterous/pretentious WBA all of a sudden wants to clamp down despite allowing Sturm to do as he pleased for years whats the deal if it waited 6 months for a Network broadcastComment

So be it. Geale deserves some chips in a big money Aussie fight. I just get the feeling Golovkin is the type of fighter that gets ducked for most of his career.Comment

THIS IS DAMN FUNNY, I laughed so hard reading that my guts hurt,Are you sad because I offended "Dannyweight" Green who got Brutally KTFO by 50 year old, blown up Tarver and some random Pole coming off suicide watch.
After having paraded his IBO trinket around as though he was a "real" champion, and shamelessly ducked the best the division had to offer?
Face it, Green and Mundine are jokes.
Tzsyu and Katsidis I have a lot of respect for however.
We will see which side of the aussie coin Geale lands on.
People want to see him fight Golovkin
Nobody wants to see him fight Soliman in a wool-shed in Toowombah or wherever.

yep, the politics of boxing do suck and have ****** since Jack Broughton was a boy. But to hell with it anyway, congratulations to Geale, now has won two decisions against german heros in Germany, a few years ago nothing short of a KO could get a win against the local. Whatever Geale does in the future he has already proven himself as a gritty and courageous boxer, hope he keeps winning for years, Aussie boxing was already in its coffin, maybe Geale can save it for a few more years, after all we aussies expect and usually get sporting success... go win some more,,,,, but stay away from Soliman, he is a has been, Geale is the man of the hour for now.Comment

Lets get real, he barely beat Sturm who looked quite bad.....yep, the politics of boxing do suck and have ****** since Jack Broughton was a boy. Now Gaele gonna Danny Green it up and hide in Kangarooland for 10 years fighting bums, ala Sven Ottke and dum dum dum Felix Sturm.
GGG wont get no love from anyone, when GGG come a calling, you better tell your promoter that you aint there.
Australia can use some good legit boxers, like Tzyu or Katsidis. Men made out of those cloth, not the sheep ones that most wearComment

I wanna see Geale vs. GGG. Wish they'd make it now while the skillet is still hot from their latest winsComment
