Marquez only recenly has been able to sell cotto has been getting big crowds at the Garden since 06 in the malignaggi fight. I think Canelo and Chavez jr are closer to cotto than Marquez.

Here it comes.......I'm a hater. Yet I have said this.
you're not a hater but HBO needs to put good fights on the network for free to sometimes. Everything can't be a pay per view. Especially since cotto lost his last fight.

A Puerto Rican drawing good numbers in pretty much his home town? You don't say?

        Boricua, silencio porfavor.

          PPV #'s don't have a hometown.

Marquez is a solid distance behind Cotto. Not debatable.

Marquez is Pacquiao's biggest fight before and after the DLH win.

Marquez draws better than Cotto did against bums(including the help of Pavlik).

Marquez draws better numbers than Cotto when it comes to non-hyped up PPV fights (Marquez vs. Barrera and Diaz 2 > Cotto vs. Judah and Mayorga)

I don't count the Margarito fights because in that situation Margarito was just as big a draw as Cotto in those fights.

The only number you can point at is the Mayweather number...that had Canelo/Mosley on the undercard and on the biggest fight date of the year and it was the most heavily promoted fight in a long time.

            Next.

In Mexico City he outdrew Cotto against a bum. Oh that's not fair right? I shouldn't include Marquez's hometown huh. You shouldn't of included a PR and MSG then.

I can sometimes understand "trolling" or trying to get a laugh out of some logic, but this goes beyond idiocy..

                    you suck at math.

how is it debatable if he's behind?

Talking about the Chavez fights...those were on PPV cause no network would buy them not cause Chavez was such a big draw.

Oscar fought Forbes on regular HBO. Cotto is aware that this is not a PPV fight and therefore it is not on PPV. I don't see how that makes him less of a draw.

He's the 3rd biggest draw in the US...but he's a distant 3rd make no mistake.
Ahhh a decent post finally from a Cotto fan.

FYI I'm not saying Chavez Jr outdoes Cotto.

Yes I know Oscar fought Forbes on regular HBO but if he wanted to make it PPV, he had the power to do so unlike Cotto. If you get what I'm saying.
