Hey man proska may be a nobody but he showed me a lot last night and would give any top middleweight problems he got his ass handed to him last night but this golovkin is the real deal he'll destroy macklin and lee both.

I wouldn't mind seeing him fight Geale actually and would give him a good chance in that fight. That's what my eyes have told me.
I watched it but didn't score it. It seemed close. I wasn't outraged by the result. At the same time, I thought Macklin deserved a win against Sturm. I don't think Proksa is very good at all, just my opinion. Geale surprised me yesterday, because I would in general give Proksa a chance to beat Geale as well, but not Sturm.

Yeah, I agree Proksa does deserve props. I'd like to see GGG destroy them. I do think he'd beat Lee, but not sure about Macklin.

Gennaday "The God of War" Golovkin. Hurry up on that bandwagon folks. It's starting to fill up quick after yesterday.

1st off Proska is a top ten middle weight! very very dificult style to solve and to deal with. I watched this fight very closely and actually watched closely how GGG figured him out - GGG is the closest to Chavez Sr. I have seen, the only real difference in their styles is that GGG has 1 punch KO power (Not that SR. didn't have it, he liked to more or less beat your ass and question your career). its scary the possible mathups ! they said dude can fight from 54 - 68 !! with up most confidence. The real scary thing that i'm not sure people caught up on was the fact that his twin was possibly better than him, but what does his twin see in him to step down and focus on GGG's career ? Hmmmmm......

Good, solid performance by Golovkin, but I'm ASTOUNDED at how many people are already sold!! Once again, my point has been validated, that when fans see an aggressive big puncher, they instantly jump on the bandwagon and call them the new P4P #1 fighter when they haven't even beaten a top 5 middleweight yet. It's ludicrous.

Listen, Golovkin is a solid, strong and heavy handed fighter. But, he has not proved himself AT ALL. Proksa has always been an enigma, given the fact he struggled so badly with a journeyman in Hope. Golovkin just might be the next "super fighter" but we DON'T know and we can't go around saying he IS when he hasn't even faced, let alone beaten a top 5 middleweight yet!

This kind of thing happened with Lacy years ago, it's happened with guys like Sillakh etc. Fans see a big puncher knocking journeyman and B level fighters and they go ape **** hoisting them up to be the next no. 1 P4P fighter, and then when they actually face a legitimate top level fighter, they get terribly exposed for being one trick ponies. I'm not saying that will happen with GGG, but we don't know, and we won't know until he faces a top 5 middleweight.

A good fight for him right now to me would be a fight with Sturm. IF he could thoroughly beat Sturm, I would be more sold on him as a top fighter. But, until he fights a fighter like that, I'm holding my breath and you all should as well, just trying to give some sound advice fellas, peace.

                  classy words from proksa

there are plenty of guys who would come up with excuses. it says a lot to be one of the few who acknowledge the performance of his opponent.

proksa will be back, but it's abundantly clear that he's not going to be a world beater.

I'm tired of people bringing up the first Proksa/Hope fight. Did y'all miss the cut on Proksa that was bleeding like hell? He fought with one eye for most of the fight and still deserved to win. In the rematch he showed what he could do to Hope with two good eyes.

-Golovkin vs. Geale/winner of Chavez vs. Martinez/winner of Quillin vs. N'Jikam
                      -Proksa vs. Barker/Guerrero/Murray

Golovkin came out with the W, but Proksa should be able to bounce back. I think he can be a world-beater, or at least be on the edge.
