Trout is a risk. I expect Cotto to win but it may not be easy at all. This is a huge step up for Trout, obviously.

Cotto wants to fish for Trout so be it.

I'll tune in to the Fishing Network come fight time.

I doubt this does big numbers at MSG.

People are sleeping on the fact that Cotto is NOT a light middleweight.

Sure he managed to avoid getting absoloutley massacred against Lil' floyd (who never Ko's anyone except midgets and idiots, and isn't what he used to be anyway)

But Trout is a BIG unit, he's fought at 168 before. He is a FULL SIZED 154lb'r, this man has got a natural 20lb's on floyd, cotto and pac

and he can **** a bit, hes not a KO machine but he's no Yuri Foreman either, this guy hits cotto he'll hurt him.

its a tough fight, sleep on Trout at your peril

Trout is no joke but I'm sure Miguel knows that, Cotto can't sleep on this guy I see Cotto fighting him with the same style he used when he fought Margarito in the second fight but with a little more aggression like in the FMJ fight, regardless Cotto wins........
          War Cotto!!!

Not only can Trout beat Cotto, he will beat Cotto. I see everyone saying Trout hasn't fought at this level yet. But Cotto hasn't beaten anyone at 154 on Trouts level. Trout is naturally bigger, he has good speed, footwork, is southpaw & decent pop. Think Jab Judah, but bigger & better than everything who doesn't tire or fall apart.

This is no knock on Cotto, I'm a fan of his, but as a realist boxing fan. Trout is to young, fresh, big, fast & strong. I expect a lot of surprise & Trouts coming out party.

You sure you're not getting Trout confused with someone else? That's not his MO at all.

Trout has enough youth and skills to beat Cotto. If Cotto stays at the level that he fought Floyd Trout won't have a chance

you can't compare trout and pac or trout to any welterweight cotto has fought before. Trout is a big man, raw boxing skills, but definitely a punchers chance because he is the naturally bigger fighter. Yuri was not a real puncher but more of a boxer whose skills were nowhere close to cotto. I think this fight has the chance to be an exciting one if trout gets desperate and realizes he is getting outpointed or cotto feels his power and decides to trade
