him being boring his last fight is why people are overlooking him. its a very risky fight for cotto.

I still favor cotto but I think its going to be tough

It's the same shiiittt after the pac fight when fought Yuri. The best fighters in the world make cotto miss like that but cotto feasts off pure boxers. The only boxer who can outbox outpoint. him is the best defensive fighter on the planet right now in Floyd. Trout don't have his incredible philly shell the shoulder roll and head movement like Floyd. This is a Miguel. Cotto tuneup he's a genius he takes a title beating a young hungry undefeated. Guy with a belt a shot at stardom and takes that belt to stay relevantevery fight is meaningful. He takes this belt and has bargaining power with his name and title for the top guys at 154 and pacqiauo not to mention he could be one of the few to deserve a Floyd rematch since it was a good fight nobody would mind seeing action wise and nobody would complain if he beat Alvarez, Lara or even if he could upset pac the way he's looking.

Trout don't hit like prime pac I don't think he'd be able to keep cotto off his ribs like Yuri. Its a dangerous fight because of trouts low name but I think its a typical cotto fight where he chases em down slows them down with the body shots and stops him late. Lets not pretend Trout has looked anything like the caliber of fighter that could beat cotto. not to mention his poor competition. Rodriguez is a tough Guy but that's it. He's not incredibly skilled. he's not world class like anybody corrosion fought and beat.

I don't see the Marg comparison, but Trout moves a lot better than Foreman with a kneebrace, and is probably better in every other way

Trout is a good fighter, but Cotto proved he is an elite boxer in the Mayweather fight and I don't think Trout has one shot KO power. I see Cotto breaking him down to a wide UD or late stoppage.

IMHO Trout is skilled and this might be his coronation but he has a couple of things working against him. He's still a bit on the Green side, he's never fought a world class fighter, and he's fighting in MSG.

Pedro Luis Diaz has turned Cotto into a counter puncher and I think that's the difference in this fight. Trout comes forward, tailor made for Miguel. I like Trout but it probably turns into a master class. Cotto probably puts on a clinic.
