I like this match up. I think Cotto wins by decision in a very close fight.

I don't exactly know who will win this fight. Trout is probably skilled enough to go the distance and some rounds will probably be very technical and boring. There will be moments in the fight where Cotto traps Trout against the ropes and he has to make those moments count because they won't be often. Cotto isn't exactly the bigger man in the fight but he will be the puncher in the fight and can probably match Trout's skill level. Trout will make a lot of rounds close and will win the punch stat numbers in some of the rounds. In the end I think Cotto wins a controversial decision in a close fight but having it at MSG definitely plays into Cotto's favor. He will have the crowd going crazy every time he gets into Trout and that will influence the judges. If Cotto just wins no matter how ugly it looks he will have a belt and will have knocked off an undefeated champion which will give his career a boost. If he somehow manages a knockout his stock skyrockets.

        Regular?? hahaha like gas ahh??
Anyway, I'm glad for Cotto. Arum was trying to screw him once more, but this time He is a free agent and told him F U C K Y O U. Now the chickensht has to fight his Daddy, Marquez and Arum is back in the drawer, where He belongs.

Cotto picked a great option for him, a very winnable fight and an oppurtunity to win a belt. Makes unification with Canelo for Cince De Mayo 2013 sound very good.

Funny how people are acting like Cotto cant box and how good Trouts jab is, Has Trout not fought anyone near the skill level of Cotto. Its not going to be close, Trout might have some moments when Cotto takes a round off here and there but I cant see Trout backing Cotto up and outboxing him for 12 rds.

We seen Cotto hurt plenty of times. He lost under pressure twice. But his last effort was pretty good agains pretty good opposition. What we seen of Trout, does not tell us much and I expect Cotto to win a close decision in MSG and plenty of robberies claim in NSB.

This right here will be a serious match people will pay for! Especially if Alvarez beats Lopez and takes on someone else to test him. Hopefully Kirkland. If he wins that, Cotto vs Alvarez will be a great match up!
