I get it my man, you are biased towards Ricans who were born on the mainland and who have been living here all their lives, but you consider a foreigner with no Rican roots a Rican because he resides in PR, got it.One thing is to have that citizenship and another is to be an American. There is a lot of difference culturally. I know that the BS members with rican parents that were born and raise in the states feel they are as boricua as those that were raised here. Probably get offended with what I'm saying. But there is a difference between us and you can tell when you see us. When you see Dulorme talk and act, he is more boricua than Danny. Danny probably dont know who the governor of the island is and dont care about it. He probably dont write spanish and is ashamed of how he talk spanish because is not even good. He reps Philadelphia, that is the following that he is obviously looking for.
John Ruiz tried and he even move to PR. Cintron did the same and Mike Perez is doing it now. Danny? Not. BTW, I dont see Paulie being call Italian.
Basically Danny isn't jibaro enough, LOL

You have the nationalistic fans and you have the real fans. After that first L instead of trying to rebuild he took too much time off. He was commentating lately and while the division is right there for the taking, he aint doing nothing. The kid is good but not P4P material.Comment

The Island is at a low right now but they still have good prospects comming up and they have up the boxing promotions hosting big events.
If Danny considers himself Rican then he is the most accomplished at the moment and Dulorme is the most exciting but hasn't faced too much stiff compteition.
Ivan is at the end of his career and Lopez is stuck on ******.Comment

If Ivan was close to prime, I'd easily consider him the best PR fighter. In my opinion, he was the best all around boxer for close to 10 years.
But as it sits:
-Cotto
-Swift
-Dulorme
I think Danny has alot of upside. If his pops moved to the #2 spot and allowed another set of hands come in an fine-tune Danny, the boy can be deadly.
Dulorme as well just looks seasoned and ready to mix it up with the best the world has to offer. Speed, technique, power, I think he's the real deal. Now he just got to prove it.Comment

I don't think I'm as puerto-rican as a person who was raised in PR, and no offense taken. Some people rep the flag so hard without having ever stepped foot on the island. It would be a sign of disrespect to those who actually live the island culture every day if I said otherwise. I consider Durlome a Puerto-Rican.One thing is to have that citizenship and another is to be an American. There is a lot of difference culturally. Damn, this Dulorme non-sense is still going on? Why does it bother some of you? If the guy says he is Puerto Rican after growing up most of his life in the island and despite him knowing the nationality of his parents, who the F&*^ are you to tell him he isnt? Get over it!
As per the question, People tend to drop a fighter after a loss. Juanma, Rocky Martinez and Vazquez jr can all regain a title. Luis Cruz, Jonathan Oquendo and Cesar Ceda are close to being world champions. As per the younger undefeated bunch, Del Valle, Bomba Gonzalez are my other 2 fighters that have looked promising lately. Del Valle is fighting Darchynyan and Bomba Gonzalez has been calling out Segura. Also, Jonathan "Mantequilla" Gonzalez fights tomorrow night on HBO BAD (not too thrilled on him though). Lets not forget about Carlos Velazquez who im hearing might be returning soon and Jose Pedraza!Comment
